1)
Eddie brought home a saxophone that he and the other band members bought together because they thought that Bud has been practicing an awful lot on the recorder and that he deserves to move to the next level of instruments.
2)
Bud suddenly realized that the guest room he was staying in belonged to his mother.
4)
The Reason why Herman E. Calloway never visited Angela and Bud was because he didn’t know how to contact her or where she was.
5)
The reason why Mr. Calloway’s daughter ran away was because he was especially strict on her because she was one of the only people in the Calloway family who has ever gone this far in school. Not that he wasn’t strict with other people; its just that he had high expectations for her.
6)
The reason why Mr. Calloway was so stubborn about accepting Bud was because he thought that everything that Bud said was a lie and that he was just making it up so he can stay in a proper house and everything. But when Herman found out that Bud was his grandson their relationship changed a lot because Herman now feels terrible for being so rude and mean to Bud when he first met him.

Bud not Buddy 15-16
1)
Bud thinks that the room that he is going to sleep in belongs to a girl that is now dead, he thinks this because Miss Thomas said that the girl is now gone. According to Bud’s Rules and Things to Have a Funner Life and Make a Better Liar out of Yourself Number 28, gone means dead.
2)
Herman E. Calloway is not happy to have Bud staying in his house because he thinks that Bud is making this all up and that he’s properly going to try to steal something in his house. Here’s a quote from page 180 that was said by Herman, “And you better not do any snooping around this room or anywhere around the house, I know where every single thing belongs and I can tell right away when something’s missing. I’ve got little secret bells all over everything and when something’s stolen the bell goes off and only I can hear it, so watch your step.”
3)
Mrs. Thomas said this to Herman because she’s saying that when they is a homeless animal he usually takes care of them, but when it comes to orphan you refuse to look after them.
4)
Steady Eddie asked bud this question because Bud always carries his old cardboard suitcase every where he goes. Eddie also gave Bud he’s very own saxophone case. Another item that Bud received was a skinny wooden recorder. Bud was going to have to learn to play an instrument since he is now part of a band.
5)
The band members gave Bud the name Sleepy Labone because now a days Bud is waking up really late and “Labone” stands for him being really skinny. If you translate the name Sleepy Labone to English it would mean sleep bones.

Navajo
An interesting fact that i learnt during the research was the ceremonies that girl have to celebrate their moving on to a women. Unlike us when they're thirteen they have to perform a ceremony called Kinaalda. Its a four day puberty period.
Here are the steps:
1) They wash their hair with soap made from a Yucca plant.
2) For the next three days they get 100 pounds of corn and wheat and grind it up.
3) Next they make dough for cake, then they dig a hole in the ground and bakes the cake and watches in hole over the night.
4) When the sun comes out, they bless the cake and offers some to the sun and the rest to family and friends.
After this the girls are considered an adult.

Parent Interview
After I interviewed my dad, I discovered that many things have changed over the past decades. However, some things are still the same, we still do the same things such as hanging out with our friends and doing sports and many more things. Then again, the technology has advanced and its more of an indoors life compared to back then. Back then, life was more outdoors, there was more surfing and swimming and that outdoor stuff. Now it's basically about technology and cars, and for some people moving. When my dad was young they had always lived in the same city and same house all their life so he's alway been with the same friends, but now people are moving a lot so you always have to make new friends. I think that it is harder to be an adolescent now because there are more challenges compared to back then. Now, people move a lot, this means you need to make new friends all the time. It was also probably a lot safer back then so you would be allowed to go out with yourself or with your friends all the time. Now you always have to be careful no matter where you are. I am glad that I did this interview because now I learnt so many things about my dad and how things have changed over the generations.

FRIM- Social Life
While I was at FRIM, I enjoyed being surrounded by people. It made me feel like i was full of life. However, some times I felt uncomfortable at the same time because you don't get as much privacy as you would if you were on your own. I felt like I was being watched by everyone. When I was on the canopy walk, I realized that I had a fear of heights. I started getting really paranoid with people coming to close to me on the canopy walk but no one listened. Then again I was also annoyed when I realized I had to use squat toilets, sleeping of the floor and eating chicken rice for breakfast, lunch and diner. Although not all things were uncomfortable, I still had plenty of fun during this FRIM trip and I wouldn't mind if I had to do it again.

The Explanation for my Quote
I think what this quote is trying to say is that our life is very short so don't try to make it go too fast because when you do, you will soon realize that it has all gone. Instead ,carefully take time to look and enjoy what you have right now, because one day it might gone.
