Navajo

An interesting fact that i learnt during the research was the ceremonies that girl have to celebrate their moving on to a women. Unlike us when they're thirteen they have to perform a ceremony called Kinaalda. Its a four day puberty period.
Here are the steps:
1) They wash their hair with soap made from a Yucca plant.
2) For the next three days they get 100 pounds of corn and wheat and grind it up.
3) Next they make dough for cake, then they dig a hole in the ground and bakes the cake and watches in hole over the night.
4) When the sun comes out, they bless the cake and offers some to the sun and the rest to family and friends.
After this the girls are considered an adult.
